Dein Profil

Erfahrung im Umgang mit Adobe Illustrator und InDesign
im Optimalfall: Erfahrung mit GIS
Bock, nicht immer nach den Regeln der Grafiker:innenausbildung zu spielen
eine fundierte, journalistische Ausbildung mit Erfahrung im Schreiben und Redigieren journalistischer Texte oder vergleichbare Fähigkeiten
die Fähigkeit, Grafiken und Texte auf ihre Qualität zu prüfen
einen versierten Umgang mit wissenschaftlichen Quellen und Statistiken
die Bereitschaft, mit unseren Lesenden ins Gespräch zu gehen

Über uns

KATAPULT ist das weltbeste Kartenmagazin Greifswalds und erscheint viermal pro Jahr digital und als Printmagazin. Wir sind ein unabhängiges Unternehmen, das Statistiken und Studien in detaillierte Grafiken verwandelt. Seit 2016 publizieren wir quartalsweise in Deutschland, Österreich, Luxemburg, Liechtenstein und der Schweiz.

Your tasks

As a graphic designer, you enhance the ideas of the editors! You create graphics for online posts, bring your own suggestions and graphic topics to the editorial meetings on a daily basis, and have the desire to unleash your creativity. Additionally, you are part of the magazine team four times a year.

Your profile

Experience in working with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
Ideally, experience with GIS.
A desire to not always play by the rules of graphic design training.
Willingness to experiment with editorial work and not just deliver.
